I'm afraid there's not much of a shortcut. I used learnerblogs to create an individual blog for each student, and that took quite a bit of time. I used James Farmer's "learnerblogs" to create this page and the student pages. James has since wrapped "learnerblogs" into the larger "Edublogs" network, and is encouraging teachers to set up websites such as this one using Edublogs. This is good news since the Edublogs allows for more flexibility in creating multiuser blogs. You can check it out at http://edublogs.org/
By the way, nice job on your blog site and wiki!

This is a great tool you have developed for your students. How did you create the individual blogs for your students? Is there a shortcut?
Thanks
